The multidisciplinary design firm Workstead is known for realizing unique projects in both residential and commercial spaces. The outstanding point is their lighting design. Your lights blend historical and progressive details as perfectly as possible. The authentic materials ensure an impressive longevity. Workstead’s CORD PENDANTS collection is their first foray into style and is based on the same shapes and materials as the other three collections: HOUSE, ORBIT and LODGE. With versatile lighting and large and small scales, each device feels just as at home in a modern space as it does in a more traditional location.
The HELIOS CORD PENDANT positions a single glowing light bulb against a radiant shell and examines the size and lighting of an early American candle in the form of a downlight pendant. Available in carved brass, brushed nickel, or handcrafted bronze.
The ORBIT CORD PENDANT is the smaller version of HELIOS with the same rounded details and the fascinating shine. Available in carved brass, brushed nickel, or handcrafted bronze.
The HOUSE CORD PENDANT LARGE makes a bold statement through a domestic shape. The inside and outside of the shade creates a beam of light both above and below and is covered with natural linen. An oversized metal ball falls under the fabric shade, grounds the shape and reflects the light from the three lightbulbs above. Available in hewn brass and natural linen.
The HOUSE CORD PENDANT SMALL is a miniaturization of a classic shaded pendant shape. Scaled perfectly to make a subtle yet impactful statement, it includes a delicate drop ball and a shade of double-sided fabric. Available in hewn brass and natural linen.
The LODGE CORD PENDANT LARGE is made from a hand-turned oak dowel. The wooden dowel hangs on a fabric cord and is interrupted by a single light bulb. Available in natural or oxidized oak with details in carved brass or bronze.
The LODGE CORD PENDANT SMALL is also made from a hand-turned oak dowel and hung on a fabric cord. It is available in natural or oxidized oak with details in carved brass or bronze.
