Copenhagen reform works with a number of architects and designers such as Note Design Studio, Norm Architects, Muller Van Severen, Cecilie Manz, Bjarke Ingels Group and others on modern kitchen designs in a reasonable price range. Their latest launch is the result of a collaboration with the Parisian architect, Jean Nouvelwhose radiant design turns kitchen cabinets into art. Reflect has high-gloss steel fronts with vertical ribs that create reflective drawer and door fronts.
Nouvel designed the Reflect kitchen to be as durable and functional as it is “dazzling and iconic”.
Art should be created for life, not for the museum.
– Jean Nouvelle
While the overall design is minimalist, Nouvel brings his signature theatrical aesthetic into the mix with the dramatic black or untreated metal fronts. The grooves catch and reflect the light, ricocheting different colors depending on the impact for an ever-changing visual landscape.
The metal version comes with a natural steel surface, while the black version is coated with a dark, corrosion-resistant layer. Both designs are finished with a clear anti-fingerprint varnish to withstand daily life and cleaning products.
The handles are built into each front frame, which is made of anodized aluminum which is both durable and long lasting.
