Netflix – The streaming platform’s stocks slipped 2% in after-hours trading after reporting disappointing third-quarter earnings and subscriber forecasts. According to Refinitiv, Netflix made $ 2.97 per share, which is below its estimate of $ 3.16 per share. Sales exceeded expectations. The company expects 3.5 million net subscribers in the third quarter, nearly 2 million below analyst estimates.
Chipotle – The Mexican fast food chain’s stocks rose 4.5% in expanded trading after beating the top and bottom lines of its quarterly results. Chipotle reported profits of $ 7.46 on sales of $ 1.89 billion. According to Refinitiv, analysts expected a profit of 6.52 US dollars on sales of 1.88 billion US dollars.
