Modernist Pillows That Carry Shade, Sample + Texture Into the Residence

One of the easiest ways to transform or update a room is to update its accessories, especially with pillows. Compared to furniture or lighting, this is a relatively inexpensive investment that sets one person’s style apart from another. The best part is that you can change the look of your room frequently and easily, as pillowcases take up almost no space. For a design that is punchy in color and minimalist in design, we love the pillowcases from Jillian Rene Decor.

Designer Jillian Carmine began her design career with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. Soon after graduating, she launched her first design in 2012, which was discovered by leading stylists and recognized by the press in HGTV and Country Living Magazine. She takes inspiration from nature, fashion and modern design of the mid-century and translates it into home textiles rich in color and textures with minimalist patterns that go well with different interior design styles.

Jillian’s latest collection of pillow cases includes a variety of designs: monochromatic color blocking, lattice paneling with stripes and layers of fringes that create a modern boho feel. For a color palette that feels current, Jillian also nods to Pantone’s Colors of the Year, Ultimate Gray and Illuminating.
