Grouphug’s Window Solar Charger Is Changing Renewable Energy

We love it when we come across a product that makes us scratch our heads wondering how they can even keep it in stock – like Grouphug’s Window Solar Charger. The brand was founded by industrial designer Krystal Persaud who, after years as a toy designer, decided to switch to design activism. The Window Solar Charger was presented in the Shark Tank and is used to charge your devices (iPhones, Android phones, Smartwatches, Airpods, bike lights, speakers, etc.) with the power of the sun. The source that always gives! The easy-to-install control panel is hung in one of your windows and allows you to charge devices day and night without being a thorn in your side thanks to a built-in battery. We know that our own homes can always have extra space to plug in, and the Window Solar Charger looks like home decor in the process. While this solar charger won’t power your entire lifestyle, Persaud sees Grouphug as your first step into solar power. Many people are intimidated to get started and they want this first step to be fun and easy. This week, April 22-25, it will sell for $ 119, and Grouphug will donate 10% of sales to Vote Solar. Vote Solar is a not-for-profit organization that campaigns for a change in renewable energy policy at the national level. Your measures could help to push solar policy even further.
