Google’s recently promoted search chief Prabhakar Raghavan It made $ 55.25 million in cash and stocks last year, according to the company’s annual proxy filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That amount takes into account his fiscal 2020 salary of $ 655,000, stock awards of $ 54.58 million vested over time, and $ 9,750 “Other.” Alphabet had sales of over $ 182 billion in fiscal 2020.

That’s more than CFO Ruth Porat’s compensation, which was $ 50.89 million.

This is the first time the company has included Raghavan in his new role on the executive compensation table. The filing also listed Chief Business Officer Philipp Schindler for the first time, who earned $ 66.38 million over the course of the year. He has had this role since 2015.

The financial data disclosure comes almost a year after Google’s leadership change last summer, when the company brought Search, Assistant and Ads executives together under the new Raghavan, who reports to CEO Sundar Pichai. Search remains one of Alphabet’s most important businesses. The Google Search and Others segment posted $ 104 billion in revenue last year, ahead of other reported segments such as YouTube Ads, Google Cloud, and ads sold on Google network member sites.

The 60-year-old executive is now responsible for the products Google Search, Assistant, Geo, Ads, Commerce and Payments. Previously, he was SVP for advertisements, start-ups and payments.

Clarification: This heading has been adjusted to reflect the fact that Raghavan’s stock awards are vested over time.
