Frontier Airlines filed for an IPO on Monday, a second attempt at going public as the industry tries to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The airline is currently owned by private equity firm Indigo Partners, whose managing partner is aviation industry veteran and budget pioneer Bill Franke.
The airline had a 2020 loss of $ 225 million on revenue of $ 1.25 billion versus net income of $ 251 million on revenue of $ 2.5 billion last year.
The company suspended its IPO plans last summer after filing in 2017.
The Denver-based airline plans to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker FRNT.
