A Tel Aviv Apartment Uses A Loop Floor Plan For Freedom + Flexibility

Designed by Tel Aviv, Israel, XS Studio, this apartment is only 89 square meters but has a new, intuitive floor plan that allows additional freedom and flexibility. As is typical for Tel Aviv apartments, the original floor plan had too many passageways and closed off rooms. Instead, XS Studio redesigned it to have a loop-like flow that allows family members and guests to move freely between continuous spaces.

In this new floor plan you can switch from the kitchen / dining area to the children’s room and then go to the master bedroom in the living room. Conversely, you can go from the living room to the master bedroom and from there to the children’s room. With this new flow, the apartment has a unique, eclectic central space that can be considered the heart of the home.
