The Private Fitler Club Combines Work, Wellness + Social

Fitler Club is a private lifestyle club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania designed by M-Rad. The club’s owner, David Gustadt, formerly Equinox, used his hospitality experience to create 136,000 square feet of cutting-edge technology that combines work, wellness and social in a single space.

The project included the gutting of the former Marketplace Design Center while maintaining the historical external structure. The result is a modernist ambience with thoughtful consideration of the original space, paired with one of the largest and best-equipped urban fitness studios in the country.

The property also has 14 guest rooms, one of which is fully furnished with Roche Bobois furniture. The rooms are spacious and sophisticated materials contrast with the industrial backdrop of the building’s past. Travelers can work in the property’s 34,000-square-foot workspace, combining private office suites with flexible open-plan workspaces.

The club’s breathtaking interiors also include collaborations with New York City’s Studio Frazar and local company Fury Design Inc.
