Influenced by the timeless modernist furniture designs by Marcel Breuer, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé, the Henry armchair boils down to the basic elements. Henry was designed by Harris & Harris and named after a street in London where they used to live. It has a lightweight tubular steel frame with a one-piece padded seat and backrest. A headrest hangs on two leather straps, with flexible leather also forming the armrests. This armchair is suitable for both residential and commercial purposes and is particularly suitable for living areas, libraries, lounges and breakout areas.
Henry is completely handcrafted in England. The steel frame can be painted as desired: naturally brushed, naturally polished or metallic gold powder-coated. The leather straps are made from natural cowhide and are available in a selection of sustainable, 100% vegetable tanned colors. The upholstery has been designed to be made from the customer’s own material, so you can personalize your Henry armchair.
For every sale, Harris & Harris contributes to the Designed For Life Foundation, which supports charities that care for those who lack basic needs for food, water, and shelter. To find out more about the Henry armchair, visit harrisharrislondon.co.uk.
